We reviewed vendors’ public product pages, pricing pages, documentation and public procurement records on 21 October 2026. A mark describes what those public sources show for the category, not a hands-on test of each product. Spotted something wrong? Tell us.

Preventive maintenance (calendar and meter)

  • Ithil: Included. Preventive maintenance on a calendar or on meter readings, with PM compliance reporting.
  • Legacy CMMS: Included. Preventive maintenance work orders and meter readings in the standard plans.
  • Maximo / SAP: Included. Time-based and meter-based maintenance plans.
  • Mobile-first CMMS: Partial. Calendar maintenance in every product; meter-based maintenance only on higher tiers in several.
  • Spreadsheets: Partial. A schedule typed in by hand. Nothing raises the work when it comes due.

Spare parts and inventory

  • Ithil: Included. Parts, storerooms, stock levels and transactions, with no cap on parts.
